Software Engineer

Full stack software engineer with four years of experience developing enterprise level web-based solutions and three years of personal experience creating console and web applications. Knowledgeable about web development, automation, and data science. Currently attending Torrens University to receive a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering (AI). At this moment I have a distinction average and anticipate graduating in August 2027. I am a US-based developer living in Australia on a subclass 500 student visa, but I will be a permanent resident once my partner visa is approved. I will be looking for full time work (or an internship for the right company) in winter of 2027.

  • Migrated the old Item Bank web app from Webforms to a newer, enhanced version using MVC, allowing the state of Michigan to more effectively streamline their workflow and remove tight coupling from the original version.
  • Created new pages and refactored old features leading to improved UI/UX.
  • Implemented unit tests to improve app coverage, which reduced downtime to preventable bugs.
  • Performed code reviews (and QA testing) of other developers code to ensure high quality code was being committed. Merged and deployed these changes.
